Email from <email@example.com> shows up as multi-part MIME with plain 7-bit content transfer encoding.
Plenty of bands have names that can't be spelled correctly in the low ASCII character set. Double-byte languages especially get hurt.
Is there a good reason not to use base64 encoding for text? In a list view of my inbox, it makes the difference between
