Turn off auto-generation of Facebook event page: check box or other setting

I have repeatedly had the issue where a redundant Facebook event page is auto-generated by Bandsintown. I cannot find a setting within Manager to turn this off. When in Facebook, I do not have the option to delete the event without "canceling" it in Manager. I end up having to report each event and have it removed by Facebook. I want my Facebook account linked for the purpose of "tour dates," but I don't want event pages auto generated.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. Facebook has begun to scan Bandsintown events once a day and will create the same event to live on the artist's Facebook (we’re working on increasing the frequency to multiple times a day). Any events that already live on Facebook will not be created to avoid duplication.

Our integration with Facebook is still in beta at the moment. We appreciate your feedback as we’re actively working on fixing these issues. You should have the ability to "Add to Page" or "Ignore" and if you accidentally "Add to Page" you should be able to delete the event by clicking the gray "x" on the right side of the event on the Events tab of your artist Facebook page.

If the corresponding event on Bandsintown is edited or deleted that will transfer to the Facebook Event within 24 hours. We are also working on creating a Setting to allow artists to disable the Facebook Event import altogether.

Please email support@bandsintown.com if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can do for you.

    Best,

    Alexis Jenkins
